Fullfillment Update

As of now, all pledges have been sent out, and Gamblers has confirmed that fulfillment is finished! Thank you all for your patience through this whole process. There are still a couple of backers that need to submit their addresses to get orders to you, so please check your Backerkit and messages on Kickstarter if you don't receive your pledge soon. We know it takes a little longer than usual for International backers to receive yours due to issues with the post we've had in the States lately. 

Thanks to everyone that has been posting pics on social media and in the forums! Though frustrated at the campaign stretching longer than expected, Randy and I believe all three decks turned out great! We always strive to make the cards not only affordable and well designed but also playable. Seeing the posts of these already making it into poker nights has been pretty sweet!

Slots Fulfillment finally starting soon!

It’s finally coming together!

Gambler’s has finished up the Gilding!! They also let us know that they should be able to start the Slots fulfillment on Thursday or Friday, after they wrap up a different project.

SLOTS Gilding and Fulfillment Update

Hey Everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

It's Randy, designer of the Slots Decks. The Slots Decks have been an odd project. We haven't had any mishaps or anything that needed fixed, but it just seems like a project that's cursed to take longer than usual!

Gambler's has had the Decks for almost a month now. Since the number of Gilded Decks is not far off from the number of total packages, we agreed with Gambler's advice to ship everything once Gilding is finished (otherwise it could get very confusing for them).

On June 7th, Gambler's let us know that Gilding had begun. Awesome! Or so we thought.

I've Gilded Decks with Gambler's on three separate occasions, so I assumed the turnaround was the usual 2 weeks. I sent Gambler's an e-mail last night, asking if Gilding was wrapping up. They then informed us that because of the backlog of Gilding work, the turnaround is now 5 to 6 weeks. What???!!!!

We're definitely not happy about that, especially since we're looking at mid July for the Gilding to finish. After I apprised them of our displeasure with the turnaround, Gambler's let us know that they'll try to get them finished more quickly than expected. We'll see if that happens or not. It's very frustrating to not have any control over the speed of the fulfillment process!

We'll keep you updated in the process. Hopefully the Slots Decks will start shipping soon!

Update and Product Shots

We're getting close! Decks are set to arrive this week! Gambler's is backed up on fulfillment right now, but they'll get started on the gilding straight away upon arrival! There's not a whole lot else going on, but with the decks arriving, that means we're a step closer to fulfillment. We're still on schedule to deliver on time and will do whatever we can to keep from going over. Randy and I have spoken at length about how COVID has impacted the campaign with delays. We want to thank you all for being patient and not hesitating to reach out between updates or giving us a nudge in the comments to make sure we're still alive.  It's all very much appreciated!

Samples and BackerKit

We got the samples in, and they look great! The color corrections make the metallic ink pop and helped provide more contrast on the tucks and card backs. I'll post pics at the bottom. Once product shots are complete, we will share those as well. I know these aren't the best pics; however, you're able to see the changes. I'll be sure to get a couple of side by sides in the product pics. 

We plan on closing down the Backerkit Surveys next Sunday. Please make sure your address is correct so that we can get your rewards to you. Even with COVID playing a role in delaying things, we are still on schedule to start shipping in June. If the timeline changes, we will let you know as soon as we do.
